An active storm front moved through my area in the Netherlands in the night of June 29, 1998. I spoiled three films (about 100 photos) on this occasion because the camera lens aperture was set fully closed rather than fully opened. Otherwise, I would have photographed a beautiful cloud-to-water strike over lake Markermeer, reflecting in the water... This again proved that there were yet many photography lessons I had to learn on how to beat Murphy's law.
