I was exactly 20.5 years old on this occasion, and I got a small present of mother Nature in the form of a thunderstorm. Nonetheless, the lightning was worthless for photography. I might have gotten better photos if I were standing on the dike at lake Markermeer at that time, but I would not have any shelter there and be standing on a tall point. But now, the neighbor's house and trees were in the way.
