Another triumph for the best lightning coming from the least spectacular storms rule! This storm formed and dissipated in about 15 minutes, just to the north of Socorro, New Mexico. I almost missed it, but I heard thunder and went to my vantage point. It was still twilight and the exposure time was limited, but the lightning was easy to predict in time and location.
