In gallery: Astronomy Moon Lunar eclipse

The moon in the final partial eclipse phase, during the lunar eclipse on November 8, 2003. The photo was deliberately overexposed to show the dark (umbral) region of the moon.

Nikon FE with 1000mm Maksutov telephoto lens (f/10), using 2x teleconverter. Film was Fuji Provia 100F.
