It wasn't long after I moved to Langmuir Laboratory again for the summer of 2007 before I was rewarded the sight of this magnificent double rainbow. This view lasted only about a minute; the rainfall (and hence the rainbow) quickly receded behind the mountain ridge and all that was left was a pair of rainbow-'feet' in the distance.

It was very difficult to take photos due to the heavy rainfall, especially while using this fisheye lens as any raindrop on the lens surface is readily seen on the image, and fisheye lenses excel at capturing raindrops. Photographed on July 13 with Nikon FE and Fuji Provia 100F film.
