During the evening of Oct. 29, an isolated active hailstorm approached from the WNW, giving an impressive show of sheet lightning and cloud-to-ground lightning, before actually passing over (which was less fun to photograph by). The photos were disappointing, however; there were too many city lights around and gave the photos an ugly green color.
