This storm chase I did together with Bernard Hulshof, Herman Harperink and Floris Bijlsma. Chase route: Amarillo TX - Dumas TX - Hugoton KS - Montezuma KS - Liberal KS - Amarillo TX (about 400 miles), and the chase lasted about 14 hours. Highlights of this day were a nice rainbow with purple lightning (of which I did not get any on film) and antenna-tower initiated GC lightning (ground to cloud). The storm became a large complex in the evening hours and we chased it for the lightning until deep in the night.
