This daytime (afternoon) monsoon storm over Socorro, New Mexico, had nice multistroked cloud to ground lightning, and little rainfall. That changed, though, when it went further south and transformed into a small squall over the Bosque del Apache wildlife refugee. By that time I had come too close to the storm and I was in the middle of heavy rainfall with lightning striking at many places around me, and it was difficult to get some lightning on film. After that, I had to give up chasing due to the terrain - there were no good roads.
